Growing up in a quintessential blue collar neighborhood in sleepy Wilmington, MA with 30 kids and moms at home, the Braciska house became central station with mom, known as Mrs. B ("Bee") (kids couldn't pronounce Braciska). Some years later, the folks named their summer house in NH (of now 60 years and counting), the "Bee's Hive". In 2011, Eric Braciska and his wife Andrea purchased their first Investment property in Maine, which began the short term rental home business. Eric named his new growing collection of properties "The Hive Homes" to honor his parents and his New England Upbringing. In 2015, the second Hive Property was purchased which serendipitously began the wedding venue business in 2016. To date The Hive has hosted approximately 1,500 groups of guests and 225 weddings across different Maine properties. The Hive Homes now offer 4 completely unique log homes across South Western Maine, harboring an experience for everyone. Whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend on the lake or a fun filled weekend slope side, there is a Hive Home for you!the hive team has remained the same since the purchase of their first property. eric and andrea, a husband and wife team (assisted by their dog hunter,) oversee nearly all of the day-to-day OPERATIONS of all 4 of the hive properties. while it has taken no less than a village over the years, finding Remarkable Log Home, Lakefront, & Farmhouse properties is the passion behind the hive and bringing that experience to you is their biggest joy.
